A Little Catching Up To Do...

Been a while since I posted anything, so there is 1 picture from all of the major events of the past 2 months.

Madelyn's Eye

Madelyn fell earlier in the week when she was getting out of bed. I had pillows on the floor in case she fell out of bed, and she got out and then fell on the pillows. It was a small cut that hardly bled when she did it. By the next morning, it was big!

Now, she picks at it so much that it looks horrible!

Easter 2010

We started Easter off on Friday @ lunch with Rickey's family. Saturday night we had crawfish at the camp, and then on Sunday, we stayed at home and Rickey grilled hamburgers for the 4 of us.

This is my favorite picture of the weekend. Rickey is helping Madelyn open the egg to see what prize was inside.

Madelyn is Two!

Madelyn turned two on Friday, April 2, which was Good Friday. I figured that most people were off work, so we had her party on Good Friday. She chose to have a George the Monkey party, since George is her Lovey!

Due to a late nap, she woke up right in time for her party. You can see that George joined us for the party.

Wee Care Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter egg hunt was today at Wee Care. Mama carried both of the girls, and I ran over there for a little while. Gracie Claire found 1 egg, and poor little Madelyn came home empty handed. To be honest, Madelyn did not even look, she was too busy watching the other children. Mama made Gracie Claire's outfit!

The Circus

We went to the circus last Friday night. This was Gracie Claire's second circus and Madleyn's first. I was really worried about Madelyn not likeing it, but she sat there with a little grin on her face and took it all in. Gracie Claire rode the elephant and the ponies. Madelyn did not want to ride anything. She is a little scared of animals. She liked to look at them at a distance.
