Dance Recital & Annual Beach Trip

Gracie Claire recently had her The Little Mermaid dance recital.  Her class was Cod Fish for tap and Princess Mermaids for ballet.  They were too cute, and she did a wonderful job.

Here Gracie Claire is with her flowers after the recital.  Last year, we surprised her with flowers and a little gift.  Well, this year she informed us before the recital that she wanted gifts, again.

The weekend that we got out of school, we went to the beach.  I took this picture of Madelyn in this outfit, because I have a picture of Gracie Claire when she was 3 at the beach in the same outfit.

Easter 2011 & Pinkalicious Party

 Love this picture of Madelyn and Rickey.  She has gotten where she covers her face for pictures.  She is laughing and showing her true personality.

Tulips

We went this past weekend to Wisner to a house that had tons of tulips.  Madelyn was less than thrilled to be taking pictures with the flowers.  Gracie Claire was just as happy as could be.

A Little Catching Up To Do...

Been a while since I posted anything, so there is 1 picture from all of the major events of the past 2 months.

Madelyn's Eye

Madelyn fell earlier in the week when she was getting out of bed. I had pillows on the floor in case she fell out of bed, and she got out and then fell on the pillows. It was a small cut that hardly bled when she did it. By the next morning, it was big!

Now, she picks at it so much that it looks horrible!

Easter 2010

We started Easter off on Friday @ lunch with Rickey's family. Saturday night we had crawfish at the camp, and then on Sunday, we stayed at home and Rickey grilled hamburgers for the 4 of us.

Madelyn is Two!

Madelyn turned two on Friday, April 2, which was Good Friday. I figured that most people were off work, so we had her party on Good Friday. She chose to have a George the Monkey party, since George is her Lovey!

Due to a late nap, she woke up right in time for her party. You can see that George joined us for the party.

Wee Care Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter egg hunt was today at Wee Care. Mama carried both of the girls, and I ran over there for a little while. Gracie Claire found 1 egg, and poor little Madelyn came home empty handed. To be honest, Madelyn did not even look, she was too busy watching the other children. Mama made Gracie Claire's outfit!
